...unfortunately that is a very important part of the game, especially when you are 10 yards out. Very poor that he dragged his shot wide from such a great position. The top players slot those no problem.

Difficult to get even a point now which would have been so disappointing to begin with.
Other than most of them being past it and/or not good enough, something stinks with this group of players. Timid, slow, no fight, they don't care at all. Very very worrying.

At the start of the day, aiming for a point from this would be a very disappointing outlook.

We've played this 4 2 3 1 for 3 years now, it doesn't work, there's never anyone wanting get the ball beyond the defence getting it from keeper.

For this set up to work you need a driving player as one of the 2, we have out and out defensive players in these slots.

Most annoying part is Jags did/didn't foul Sigurdson but there is no pleading on his part, they just accept it like a team of 6 year olds.

I'm not sure if it was a pen, so you can normally go by how the player giving it away reacts, and it looked like Jags reacted as if he knew it was a pen right away.

Every transfer window we have looked forward to a raft of new faces, getting rid of dross and nothing really happens. Don't get your hopes up.

Stories will abound of naughty other clubs 'stealing' players just about as they were to sign for us. Stories that we met people's crazy asking prices but the player changed his mind.

Its getting tiresome, everyone is jaded, the players, the fans, nothing changes.

We go with what we have, as they say.

I don't believe koeman is a bad manager. Therefore it leaves me to believe it's the players not being up to it, we need new faces desperately and although I agree we aren't going to be signing new and better players, doesn't stop the fact we need them haha
