It's Awful what you've had to go through mate latley...Obviously most of us on here have pets (cats & dogs etc...) who we love, consider part of the family & we would be gutted when they die, however we often take them for granted (I'd be surprised if my dog didn't think his name was c'mon [Poor language removed] head!)

...To care for an exotic pet like an Owl takes a lot of dedication, which you have portrayed with pride & passion since i first seen you on this forum!

...as terribly as this has all ended, you & your family should be proud!

Thank YOU MATE............. I have got to the bottom of it............I know who it was and why....... I just can't prove it. I am a qualified level 1 (Lantra) falconer............. I only need to be level 1 for owls .... the other levels are for Hawks/falcons etc.The fact I know who and why is driving me mad cos I can't prove it.Coming home from work at 2 am in the morning......... I could here him getting as excited as a dog.......... he knew he was going out for a fly.............he would fly and fly.....disappear out of sight........ then all of a sudden.... would swoop in and land on my arm.....Magical............. then he would have his quail........ and i'd have my donner kebab..........happy days lol

Love it brother............... what they don't tell you is........... that the nostrils are on the side of the beak......... and every time you feed them..... they sneeze all over you when they are eating lol x

I thought I had posted something looking at your avatars lol.........Put a big smile on mine and my missus faces.We bought an expensive bottle of champagne today......purely for the wooden box it came in.............the champagne will be drunk another.........happier time.The box however..........I think you will find.... is quite simply perfect.Many many many thanks to you all.

Look at it this way mate.
His death has caused us all to appreciate owls and their natural beauty even more.
In all honesty I've never looked at owls twice, but I most certainly will now.
When I get home I'll take my dog for that extra walk, give him a few extra treats when the Mrs isn't looking, and appreciate him more.
Hope this offers you some sort of small comfort.

So I left the house at 9 am Greek time.... I am now in Athens waiting for my connection (I am away for a week).......... AND SOME FU****S........ have stolen my Barn Owl............ Totally gutted and totally helpless.
