Can't stand him, regardless of his talent/current form.

Awful character. One only has to google him to find loads of examples. He already behaves like a superstar while he is yet to prove everything. Oh and the time with the golden teeth, why ffs.

Koeman seems to think he can control him, seriously doubt it. I remember reading something where a football scout said if he could rate his personality he would rate him far below zero.

That wasn't a football scout who said that, it was Koeman about his impression of Depay as a 16/17 year old mate whilst he,was his manager at PSV

No they're not. They have more of a 'manager problem' than we do, for starters. Depay, at the right price, could be a great signing for Everton, were at least the manager has a plan and knows what he wants from his players. Jose unfortunately has done well as a manager but is now so far up his own arsenal and intent on perpetuating the 'Mourhino' legend that he has forgotten how to manage, and drops players on a whim . Everton would give Depay a fair crack, and he could be a great success.

They have a better side than we do Steve...

But yes, Depay could be a good signing for us. I haven't said otherwise.

Man U are better than us though

They're currently above us on goal difference, despite spending over £100m more on players this past summer and having an average annual wage bill that is over double ours.

Time for some Blues to have higher standards and aims for the club instead of settling for rubbish.

We should only go for players playing in the starting 11s of teams above us IMHO.

Players actually getting a game for any club would be a start instead of everybodies cast offs.

Why are we so obsessed with Man Utds cast offs anyway? I could maybe understand it when they were good.

Forget about the tattoos, cars, dress sense etc by all accounts his attitude is very good, dedicated and hard working. At United he seems to have lost a lot of confidence and if Koeman rates his ability and can guide him then it could be a good move.

At his best he has excellent movement, skill, strikes the ball well, can finish and be a match winner. But I'm not sure that he has the pace to star out wide in England like he did in the Dutch league and have always thought he'd be better off playing through the middle.

He is another of those players that might make sense in the context of signing another 2 or 3 players rather than in isolation.
I'm tired on us being linked with bigger sides rejects.
He has done absolutely nothing to warrant interest and his attitude seems questionable, wasn't Koeman criticising him previously saying he was another player who expected everything without working hard enough? We have enough players who don't seem capable of putting a 90 minute shift in.
No, unless it's on loan and then he needs to have made quite an impact.
