First heard him from his first album but really appreciated him as I got older....his latter work from "I'm Your Man" bears comparison with his earlier songs.........

Yep one of my favourite series of the last few years and he was great in it.

It is still repeated on some channel or other, and Mrs R has them all on the Sky Plus gizmo. Still a great watch on those rubbish TV evenings, even if you know the outcome.

You know that Mickey Briggs, well the actor, is a world renowned Shakesperian actor? Why he wouldnt do any more cos he didnt want to be a "Star" name in the theatre. Also why there are blocks of episodes with him not in them. Was off doing Hamlet or something in Merica or somewhere.
