Having had time to sleep on it I've come to the following conclusions:

-In their desperation for a saviour many fans/posters have hailed Farhad as that saviour before there being any tangible evidence that things have changed (I omit @davek from this list).

-The club's kopite loving mouthpiece (The Echo) has been allowed to deceive the fanbase with it's constant stream of propaganda and almost nobody has thought to challenge this.

-If our summer net spend had happened without Moshiri at the helm there would have been protests against Kenwright.

Right now it's all just talk and you know what, you only have yourselves to blame for this situation.

Meek.

Downtrodden.

Naive.

What happened to you blues?
The Echo: "Moshiri is going to make Everton great again". "Koeman is a strong man who's made Everton defensively solid".

They are utter cowards who have never asked a substantial question of anyone in charge at Everton and never will.

Not a peep from Moshiri about any money promises , which is the way it should be. Just some coming to their own conclusions. Wait and see mate.

not true, in his very first official statement Mosh said he would invest actual money, provide funds above & beyond what we get from player sales and tv money.

i've linked it a few times in this thread, it's common knowledge.

Had we bought Sissoko we would have had the 6th largest net spend in the Summer. The money was there but we got trumped by Spurs, a team in the Champions League. The players we did buy have improved the team. I can't name my sources obviously but I know that Moshiri put £70m into the club this summer.

As for the "we've lost to 3 championship teams", that's Daily Mail style rhetoric. Bournemouth are a really good team with a great manager. Yes we should be beating Burnley (not a championship team), Norwich was really disappointing. But we've drawn with Man City and Spurs.

Anyway, I'm rambling. What I am trying to get across is that we should'nt automatically look for the negative in everything.

Where are your "unsubstantiated claims" that he didn't put any money in? I trust the person that told me fully. Do you trust your sources or are you just making assumptions based on nothing?
Do you stand by this claim?
Reason I ask is that the Pru loan may have been paid off at least partially by not repaying the JG Funding loan (charge still outstanding - I know...) so if the cash flows regarding transfer dealings and Barnsley compensation match up as cash, the only unfunded element of what has gone on would appear to be RM compensation, Southampton and Leicester compensations, and preparatory costs regarding the new stadium.
So if you stand by your statement, ypu would expect to see 70 - 11- 6- 2 - 5(generous) = 46mil of immediate funds available.
Do you believe this to be true?

He's not a sugar daddy he's a business man and he's seen the earning potential with Everton and jumped at the opportunity.

I fully believe Kenwright has got him on board for that reason.

Just to play devils advocate, true blue holdings had more shares and a longer timeframe yet still didn't get it through.

I'm not sure how what you've posted can be constituted as conclusive proof it's happening when we've been much much further down the line at least twice and probably 3 times in the last 15 years
Joey, one slight difference we have never had a billionaire owner.

I stand by it in that I trust the person who told me. I can't say 100% it's true obviously but it came from someone very close to Moshiri in a situation where there would be no reason to lie/exaggerate.

You sound like Ian Ross / Ruperts Tower mate lol

Seriously though, if we made a sackful from tv money and brokeven (approx) on player trading then the only cash he would have invested would be to.pay off outstanding liabilities.

I cant see those being close to £70mil.

£50m takeover of Nottingham Forest by John Jay Moores edges closer
By Nottmtails | Posted: October 31, 2016

The potential takeover of Nottingham Forest by an American consortium led by John Jay Moores is making good progress – with a deal hoped to be completed during the international break.

Elements of the £50m package have already been submitted to the Football League for approval – and it is understood current owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is willing to relinquish full ownership of the club and not retain a 20 percent stake as had been initially mooted.

That development has already helped to move things along, with several members of the proposed consortium of investors having been in Nottingham for several weeks now, working to get the takeover package over the line.

And Moores himself, is now understood to have flown over to the city in an effort to speed the process along, over the last few days.

Moores and partner Charles Noell have already submitted information to the Football League in an effort to ensure they smoothly pass the required owners and directors test, ahead of the £50m deal.

Where the takeover would leave head coach Philippe Montanier remains to be seen – but the Frenchman's position is uncertain at best.

A win over QPR this weekend would help his cause, following a run of just one win in 10 Championship games.

Regardless of the head coach's position, the new owners would make changes to the club hierarchy, with the search for a new chief executive already underway, while a new director of football is also on the list of potential appointments.

Brad Friedel, the former USA keeper, is expected to have a role under the new regime, but it may not be as director of football, but as part of the coaching setup, either under Montanier or under any potential replacement.

Moores, who previously owned the San Diego Padres baseball franchise, has previously attempted to invest in both Swansea and Everton, but now finally looks to be close to achieving his goal of owning a football club.

What do you expect when that "publication" back pages are skewed towards the RS,my thoughts are those who write about Everton there are just trolling us and all have a laugh around the coffee machine at the utter trash they write, some of the articles are probably ghost written by the James Pearce.
