Have a look at he the last few pages in this thread to see what many on here were saying about Williams
https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/ashley-williams.90261/page-250

He's been very good. Anyway, he's the least of the problems. Can anyone tell me what Ronald's teams 'identity' is. When he had our start to the season for decades and Sky had him on MNF, he said he likes his teams to press. Have we seen that?

With southampton last season he was rumoured to be sacked...then changed to 3 at the back and went on a barnstorming run.

They lost plenty of games by big scores under him.

For perspective

Pochettino's first 11 games got him 14 points

And Klopp equalled Koeman with 18 points but lost his 12th game to West Ham 2-0

At least Martinez tried to play a system...tried to get us to play his way...

Whats Koemans system /style of play?
Early days still Zat. Not trying to convince you about Koeman, as I know your opinion about him. You and me is probably a clash between his biggest advocate for hiring him and his biggest critic. Fair enough, no problem there. If in one or two years time there's still no significant progress than I'll admit I'm wrong. Quite sure I'm not though.

how many more performances like today could you put up with in the meantime?

For me, its 2 more like that or similar...only because we have some poor players.

Yeah, but you knew what they were trying to do, their philosophy, their identity. What's Ronald's plan?

For a bit more perspective

All true and the mods can see you slagging blues in the match thread today.

You LOVE IT when we lose...an opportunity to slate blues.
If that was true I'd of been banned a long time ago. You're making an even bigger tit of yourself, stand down. You're an embarrassment.

Yes, today was poor and I sincerely hope he took a lesson from it. Quite sure he will, as he always seems to learn from his mistakes/failures. That's part of why I'm a fan of him. As I said before, it will take at least two more (succesful) windows to fix it and really make it his squad. Pressure surely is on Koeman, Walsh and Moshiri to start delivering.
