The players most definitely! Our squad needs a complete overhaul imo. Martinez has ruined this squad of players.

Yet Unsworth won 3-0 with the same players....Koeman was praised for getting results with the same players and his additions.

Cant have it both ways.

I've been very critical of Bolasie all season over on his thread, just don't think he's got it. But many posters have argued that he's been nothing but a success. Hence why I put (not mine) in brackets. Take this game away and Williams has been a good signing, is one game really going to change people's opinion of him? Surely not. He's been an improvement on Stones from last season, which wasn't hard, admittedly.
Most were saying Martinez had a talented team, underperforming. Or did he have us as par?

Bolasie is a donkey...he gets assists out of pure luck...at least i guess its luck as other than an assist hes rubbish every game.

If we had won against Norwich under Martinez we would have finished 11th under him...thats 2 places below our wages compared with the other teams.

Unsworth won 3-0 against Chelsea? Must have missed that one.

Fabulous response. Could it be that Koeman is Dutch so youre backing him and blaming a former manager? Shall we blame Moyes for the result as well?

Its Koemans job...its koemans tactics and lack of motivation.

He was in the press this week saying how great he has done....well he didnt do well today.

He was up against Arnautovic...took him apart piece by piece and still made some tremendous runs forward and good crosses too.

Then dropped when Coleman came back. The same Coleman whose been downhill over 3 seasons now....

I think you're a bitannoyed tonight aren't you Zat
But the seriousness is, Koeman has an absolutely huge overhauling job to to. Lukaku, Bolasie, Gueye and Barkley aside, the better players like Barry, Williams are now ageing and will need to be replaced.

Coleman, i agree with to a degree, but I just don't think he's suited Martinez' or Koeman's style whatsoever, and that's affected him hugely.

Mate you need to have a good watch of Williams there is a reason he was at Swansea so long, and you can say it all night but no way is Williams an improvement on stones,we are an average side with average players,if you start in goal we have a keeper deemed not good enough for Fulham and Southampton to name two,but good enough for us Coleman has been poor for 18months oviedo is a joke etc etc.

Lukaku
Barkley
Davies
Holgate
Deulofeu on a run of games

Thats what i want to see now...those 5 in each game.

Im more angry than usual about us hiring Koeman...dont like him not since he destroyed valencia.

Thought Koemans idea to match up with 3 at the back was predictable, and probably the wrong call, although can see why he did it. He tried to change it, but didn't have any effect.

Far too many bang average players there though. Can make a good case for some or all of the following to be shipped out/ replaced asap - Funes Mori, Jags, oveido, cleverly, miralles.

All players who will do ok against 8th placed teams and below, but against anyone decent will get found out. If we have any ambition to finish top 6, we need to replace at least 2 of them in january. All need replacing if we want to improve next year.

A relegated Norwich.
Yes and that's a big difference. Koeman also managed to win 3-0 against Sunderland. Chelsea are quite a different story though. I'm not looking to protect Koeman, but the fact is that this is not his squad yet. We had a god awful and frustrating summer in the transfermarket imo. Too many of the old guard aren't up to it anymore. Koeman needs at least two more windows before I really start to judge him. If he still hasn't turned it around by then, fair enough. It's not a secret I'm a Koeman fan. Love Everton a lot more though.

Dont mind Williams BUT it was reported that he wasnt great last season, also on ESPN Asia theyve picked his passing apart several times over the years...
