Computer games.

The beauty of battlefield is you can still do well even if you suck at shooting people. You can top the score sheets with a ton more deaths than kills as you can still get points for taking objectives, suppression, assists, healing, repairing and more.

Interesting. The only FPS online i've ever been good at was Battlefield 1942 and the Vietnam add on they had to one a while back on PS3.

I have to say I think it's winning.

Yes on the playstation now
Yeah, so it really isn't "on the PC" then is it. It is streaming from their service. So if I want RDR, I have to pay $20 per month for the privilege. No ta.

You still need a Dual Shock controller. I don't have dual-shock controllers. The beauty of PC games is we basically get to choose our controls to suit our tastes.

You would still be playing it on the PC though?!!

No. You are streaming it to your PC. So your game quality is dependent on your internet connection.

It would be the same as playing PS3/PS4 games on the Xbox One (using the HDMI passthrough). Most importantly, I am not paying $20 A MONTH to play it. Game like that, I pay once, I get it for life.

Look, @dan78, you are playing the PS3 version of the game. If I want to play the old version, I grab a copy of the Xbox 360 version, as it works on the Xbone though backward compatability.

If I stream the game with PSNow, I am still playing the PS3 version. What do I do if I have a tri-SLI 1080 setuo and I want to run the game in 4k with 16x AA, HDR etc (tumbleweed density!!!)?? I can't. The games stream in 720p according to Sony (source: https://goo.gl/wxYZmK). Which leaves my mega-pc a bit underutilized.

BTW, i don't have tri-sli 1080's, totally a 'what-if', but my machine is more than capable of running an old xbox360/ps3 game at a much higher res than PSNow is offering.

For PC gamers only this is the first chance they get to play it, so yes i see your point but its still playable on PC though not as good as a PC release would be.

Not played any games all year, got a bit bored of it, but just picked up Gears and Battlefield 1 recently and that's me sorted for the winter nights in, both are excellent, love Gears of War, Horde mode and the multiplayer are great fun with their own unique flavour.

Only played a little of Battlefield yesterday but it looks and plays great.

Got the free trial for playstation now.

Not great is it? Torn at the minute because it's nice to have access to the likes of batman and stuff again but dynasty warriors was laggy. Had a quick whirl on xcom as well as Alex kidd. Other side is though all the games my son could get on his playstation if I had an active subscription like the sonic games. So wouod get value that way but can't help feel the xbox is better for it.
