The point those bellend commentators are missing though as well, the high boot just about happens before the handball.
Tbf, Jim Beglin (at least I think it's him) defended the refs call.

Idiotic from Simon Burnton in the Guardian. he says Jagielka handled the ball a split second before almost being decapitated so it should be a free kick to Palace. He obviously protected himself from imminent danger you pillock.

At the end of the day, I'm don't really care. Need another goal though to kill this off.

Think they need to realise that a high boot doesn't need to make contact with the player to be a free - kick.
 

On another note, I had to Google "Christmas selection box" because we Yanks just cram a bunch of loose sweets into the stocking at the last minute on Christmas Eve. Sounds wonderful, though.
