I just don't think he's disciplined, consistent, or good enough to keep being included mate. Surely time to take a spin on a youngster?

Anyway, coyb's!
Mate he played really well pre-injury last season.

And yes, I know you can say the same thing about McCarthy and Oviedo as well.

He's in for exactly the same reason Martinez played him whenever he was fit. Deulofeu, Mirallas, Barkley and Lukaku all can't defend.

Barkley and Lukaku are untouchable so that means dropping Deulofeu and Mirallas against half way decent teams. Against turd one of them can play but even Koeman refuses to play them both at the same time. It's a situation not helped by the aging legs of Barry.

Martinez was exactly the same.

At some point if two different managers see exactly the same thing we may just have to accept it.

Personally I think Barkley doesn't produce enough to be a luxury. Deulofeu and Mirallas create more chances although after Bournemouth neither can have any complaints.

Don't think Barkley's in there because he's untouchable as much as we have no other players who can do what he can do when he finds his feet. The big IF is if he can...

Look on the bright side. If Cleverley bombs, it's probably his last chance. If he shines like a beacon of bossness, we win and the fume fest is put on hold. Saying that, if he is super..he plays again..until he bombs.
Forgot what my point was now...carry on.
the fume bus is always looming around the corner

2nd half against west Brom we had Lukaku up top with Bolasie on the left and Del on the left with Kev in behind. Gana and Barry holding. Seemed to work a treat. Don't think we've seen it since.

Will be interested to see how we line up tonight.
