Enner Valencia

I've not seen it yet, I was going on what I read in a match report. Still, I reckon that he will have something to offer.
Well he looked woeful last night - barely an upgrade on Kone - and you have to wonder why West Ham fans were so made up to see him leave, don't you? Panic signing as the board refused to put their hands in the pocket for a decent second striker. An absolutely abject performance by Everton in the transfer window, unable to even give away McGeady or Niasse and ending up with this chump as our second 'best' option up front.

I think Kone is better.

Didn't get any service really, isolated up front. The amount of times were there wasn't a blue shirt within 20 yards from him yesterday was too many to count, whilst being surrounded by 4-5 Norwich players.

Showed he was willing to close down, worked hard, an when he did get the ball showed some decent touches. Having said that, he definitely needs Rom up front to play off as I don't think he's going to be able to play the lone striker role.

Upgrade on Niasse and Kone though. Think he'll do alright as a backup.

I wouldn't argue with you on it mate. At least he can hold the ball up and bring other players in. He's still utter crap, but better than West Ham reject Valencia. Literally when I saw we'd signed him on the final day I just turned off the TV and went to do something else. Everton have their very own brand of disappointing their supporters.

If he's not able to play the loan striker role then he's not able to do the job he was brought in to do. Be backup to Rom.

Kone is certainly a better centre forward than Valencia, but Valencia has pace and the ability to go past a man. In 21st century football-speak he's a number
