Hope to god this new stadium isn't a bowl. Rather have a Westfalenstadion-type over a soulless bowl.

Did the run out of white tiles or paint for the roof?

Might be a hint of sarcasm in this but if genuine, I would guess it's to let the light onto the grass. As with any complete bowl with a roof covering the stands the grass struggles to bed and grow.

Can't believe some responses to Allianz, it may not be everyone's cup of tea but jeez it's not bad and it's certainly not the SOL with an extra tier!!!

Will the stadium be influenced by the surrounding area like maybe a maritime theme or a motorway junction theme??

That's Clarence Dock - a much more preferable location IMO and far enough away from the 'whiff'.

Maybe not use whoever did the Minnesota Vikings stadium. Injured player carried basically through a restaurant to get to the treatment room. Amazing design.

I just hope the stadium will be unique, will have close stands and will have some features like retractable pitch to allow us host NFL matches or Lille stadium-like lower level floor to allow us to host other things than only football games in the stadium. If we really need to leave Goodison, I want our stadium to bring us something extra than only football.

That's Clarence Dock - a much more preferable location IMO and far enough away from the 'whiff'.

Clarence dock area is too built up nearby and too close to town. Traffic needs to be taken into account as well as parking.
