I didn't think he'd be a starter under Koeman. I'm surprised he is. Don't think he will be for much longer & definitely won't after January. Gets brushed off the ball & can't pass the fcking thing. Not good enough.

I thought he was lucky to come out for the second half, woefull performance.

I agree his work rate is better and he is fighting harder, but not enough to get his place ahead of GD for me...

This is why we need depth. Thankfully we have it in Kev's position, and in spades.

The worry is when Ross or Rom need competition or back up. They just don't really have it.

I think Mirallas and Deleuofeu can both play behind Lukaku through the middle to be honest.

They can but they aren't really like for like replacements for Ross. We needed and still need more of a playmaker type in my opinion. I'm still a bit gutted we didn't get Brahimi or Mata.

Right now everything is going well but the less depth you have the more luck you need. And we are rarely lucky!

Yea it would have been nice to get that type of player in but if our wide men continue to put quality balls into the box then that will negate some of the need for a playmaker, in the interim anyway.

Yes, I think Kev would be suited to that role.

To me, Kev is not a winger as I know them.

He doesn't go to the byeline and ping the ball over the way Bolasie and Del do.

He is always cutting in, particularly when he plays on the left.

Didn't have a great game but would keep him in. I like us playing with two wingers. Said it all about Martinez that even when on the verge of the sack, he was too stubborn to play two genuine wingers.
