Bobbys pay off

Come on .... Although the stats are true... That first season was little to do with him.... If Moyes had stayed and was given the same money I have no doubt we would have finished just as well... Look at bobbys win ratio after he had a season to get them playing the way he wanted..... Ie like and unfit Wigan team... Bet his stats are terrible
Come on? Again, really? His first season we played in a way unrecognizable to Everton under Moyes. You are basing your argument on *if Moyes had stayed*. We may have won the league with Moyes that year. We may also have been relegated. IF. IF. IF. Give over with the "what if's"

I feel the need to reiterate, I wanted him out, but I refuse to look at the situation in a biased manner. Say we take away Kendall 1's magnificent seasons. Where does that leave his record? It is negligent to arbitrarily throw out stats just because they don't support your narrative.

It is testimony to how bad we have been in the EPL era that in actual fact Bobby is indeed one of the best managers we have had.

I would say Joe, Moyes and Bobby.....in that order.

But Bobby was better than Walker, Howard 3 and Walter IMO.

Do you think bobby would have kept us in the prem with the teams that those managers had? The only reason we didn't go down was because our players fought for it ( even tho they were crap) and were actually fit enough to play 90mins .... If bobby was there... You would have seen players like Jackson, Holmes, pen bridge, alexandersen etc trying to play like Barcelona and only being able to play a soft, non pressing game plan for 80mins... Add into that that we had ferguson and he scored a lot of important goals from corners (which we never practised ) I see no reason why he would have kept us up.... Look at the goals we and Wigan let in... People said it was individual errors which put Wigan down... But who is responsible for asking Steven Caldwell and titus bramble to play like franz bekenbaur? The sheer number of goals conceded by his teams means IMO..... That we would have certainly been relegated ... Which non of those managers were

All those managers had bad squads... And no money to improve ... Your saying we were playing unrecognisable to Moyes... That's true... But our league position is what matters and I believe that with the same money that bobby had... Moyes wouldn't have taken us to 11th. Made us soft and easy to beat... Throwing away 1-2 goals leads in the last 10 mins on a regular basis and having players not fit enough to play professional football... The argument I am saying ( how it started) is not by saying bobby was not entitled to that pay out legally, but weather he was unfairly dismissed.... And if I was as bad at my job as he was... And was sacked... I could probably understand why... And would accept that I wasn't good enough..

In fairness Moyes made the league champions soft and easy to beat. While Martinez had us flying in that same season.

Why does anyone care? Do they think the money would have been taken off season tickets? Or their Sky subscription? Football is awash with money, this is a small amount of it. If you don't like the amount of money in football, stop contributing to it. Otherwise, someone got sacked from their job and got the payoff they deserved in their contract.

Mostly because of the international break and we are all in withdrawal.

He did... But he already had us hard to beat... A few additions and I believe he would most probably bought well and improved again... And the following season? Given the 30m bobby was... I don't think you would have seen is in 11th

When he got around 30mil for Lescott, he didn't get us Champions League.

Are you ignoring the fact that Moyes made United soft and easy to beat?

Moyes would have never attracted a player like Lukaku either.

Martinez was a poor PL football manager...only the cultists, fuming at the sacking of their demagogue, persist in lending stale oxygen to that debate.

But whilst we tire of the febrile rancour the cultists bring to the forum, we need to move ahead, to forge forward.

We need to all get along now people. OK, the plotters defeated the cultists; but that is yesterday's news. Let's move forward in harmony and unison.
I invite all cave-dwelling Rumpilstiltskinians to shuffle out from their crepuscular physical and mental crawl-space and embrace a coruscatingly new Everton Football Club.
The air is fresh... the light is bright

Bobby is Belgium's problem now.

Awaits people saying:

Martinez and staff pay off

Koeman 7mil x 3 year contract

=30-35 mil so far

Barkley and Lukaku new contracts

X3 or x5

Equal an extra 20-25 mil a year

Plus money we spent on Bolasie Marteen Williams GANA under 21 lads

= 50

Total sum aprox 100 mil

There is our 100 mil war chest? Am I right lads???

Bet it will be used at one point as nobody can bare to call out the obvious flaws in Moshiri, who's not spent penny of our Season ticket or Tv money.

Crikey, I had no idea it was completely free to run Everton outside of what's spent between May and August.

That's groundbreaking news to me.

Moshiri out.
