Bobbys pay off

It's not like the money cost us losing any players, that was the fault of the same people who put this in his contract. It is what it is.
I never mentioned the money, you said he was unfairly sacked, I think you have me hook line and sinker as no one with a basic working knowledge of the game would agree with you. No one.

This just shows him for the scum bag he is.

It also shows the board acted way too quickly after he profited massively off what Moyes left him, they thought he was the second coming, he got a 4 year extension, ironically he would of got no such deal if they'd of waited then as things panned out the way he did, he simply would of seen out his initial 3 year deal and gone.

Must be a reason he didn't get another club job.

Ridiculous from the club to give a contract like that off the back of one season. Perhaps he's a bit of a knob for pressing it home, but it's his right to do so and he absolutely deserves the money.

If he didn't deserve it, then the club shouldn't have guaranteed it.

More fool us for not having performance clauses in his contract and shame on him for enforcing the maximum payout.

He failed and should have accepted that fact and behaved accordingly, a total lack of class as far as I'm concerned and shatters his bogus nice guy image.

A negotiated sensible settlement is what should have occurred in my view, particularly given he was only without work for a few months.
