They've been working on 'deals' all summer
It's now the last day an we havnt spent a penny. They've messed up so far so if you think they are miraculously start signing top player all in 1 day, think your in for a shock esk.

We signed three players in the space of about two hours a few seasons back. We will sign players tomorrow. Four players I doubt highly but then I only think we need one or two really.

We got two of them because their clubs made them available at the last minute on loan. 4 deals for actual real money that have been in the works for weeks aren't likely to all get done in the last day and it's probably too late to move on to other targets.

That's assuming we are even in for any of them which frankly I highly doubt.

No signings before Stones, sell Stones and make a load of signings, no signings. It's too much of a coincidence.
