Has any team ever signed 4 on the last day of the window? Everton managed 3 back in 2013, so it is possible I suppose to get them in. Can't help but feel one of them is going to be a blind punt.

The point is that this is not planned nor ideal. The club wanted more but have failed to deliver. We now have an anxious few hours scraping for players who were perhaps 5th choice or worse.

How do you know what the club wanted?
