Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I figured the Gabbiadini deal wouldnt go through due to Napoli's hand wringing. Since they were insistent on finding a replacement, but seemingly bad at that, Everton wasnt going to pin their backup striker hopes on a hope and a prayer. Now, I could see Napoli rushing to sign someone to get it done, but I think Everton are going to move hard towards Bony.

Not a sniff indeed. I don't think anyone called Moshiri turning up, and that went on for like 18 months according to the man himself. I think everyone was surprised as me, as we'd been thrown the scent of the complete opposite.

Everton are experts in surprise parties.

When they pull it off it's amazing.

The rest of the time you don't even know if they're organising one at all, and probably aren't, but that's the joy, it's a surprise...
I sure hope so mate, I sure do.

This is turning into a bit of a struggle to not join the full on head wobblers/bed wetters isn't it!

The strangest of transfer windows since they started?

The club are just complete amateurs at negotiating, and have been for a very long time.

It's going to take more than a few months to get rid of the lack of capability that was already at the club.

So are we going to do a brendan rodgers and go after a striker we had no interest in earlier?

Any actual source for gabbiadani falling through?

Di Marzio... who is iffy (not as bad as Tancredri like) to say the least.

But, if what he says is to be believed, we've pulled out because Napoli are taking too long to decide in which case, we've done what many people on here have wanted us to do when targets have 'stalled'

Part the problem in these windows is Sky. They promote rumour, hearsay and downright lies, while doing so they milk punters for all they've got by offering attractive odds for a none event..................that is corrupt as they profit all the way to the bank in the assured knowledge that the punter has backed a none starter

it's when I hear "according to sky sources" that I think this is just like a journalist saying "allegedly".

I did say Sunday I thought Gabbiadini might be a red herring......shrewder than a bag of monkeys me like!

I reckon that's as we have done a deal on Brahimi
