If Barry gets injured, our closet replacement is Gibson and we still haven't signed a real playmaker.

Perhaps we should have retained Roberto, solely for the purposes of transfer negotiations.

haha probably no truth in a loan at all, unless it was to CL less chelsea so he wasn't a threat to them this season.

just saw it and thought it was the ideal hook for the average fan to believe we had a chance of signing him after all

Really, really hoped we wouldn't be going through deadline day nonsense this year. Disappointing to see that we've been unable to get our business done until the last minute once again. Hopefully next year goes smoother with Walsh having the time to identify his targets with Koeman well ahead of time.

Isco is proper class mate, hope it's true they're after him on loan though, he agrees, then at the last minute knocks them back.
