The esk? I know he's well respected on here and has made good calls before apparently but his run of late has been shocking, not only has he claimed we were signing players that we havnt but to my knowledge he made no mention of the few we actually did sign until the much maligned media had already reported it.

Sorry to burst any conspiracy bubbles fellas, but I've honestly only ever had the one user name on here.

:bye:...HIYA.

You say you don't come here often? In which case WELCOME....

I congratulate you on how quickly you've researched....you've seemingly gone from a relatively innocent opening ITK question to a poorly-veiled ESK-POP quicker than three shakes of a strippers teats...well done, you is one of them fast learner, adaptable sorts then I takes's's's's it.

Yes?

For such a smart man, you display perplexing irrationality.

I refuse to believe you put the lack of net expenditure solely down to an unwillingness to spend.

You must have at least considered the possibility that we're finding it difficult to convince players of the calibre we're aiming for to join Everton.

Because that seems to be the most likely scenario to me.
Money comes in, then money goes out.

That's what I've seen this window.

I'm sure we'll see a net spend of about £15m-£20m, but not all our priority signings anywhere near done.

It's a business like no other. Either invest or don't take up the reins.

Out of interest, what do you think has been our biggest problem in terms of getting higher calibre players through the door? Lack of investment? Lack of managerial pulling power? Lack of club stature?
