Leicester are going about their business impressively. Slimani and Adrian Silva

They seem to have massively overstocked their squad. Maybe there'll be a few outs of perhaps it is for the CL

Strikers: Vardy Ulloa Okazaki Musa Slimani (3 will expect to be first choice)

Wingers: Albrighton, Mahrez, Dier, Demerari Gray, Kaputska, Schlupp

Midfielders: Drinkwater, Memphy, Amartey, King, Inler, Silva

Lots of people still refer to Leicester as a fluke but there's no denying the depth of the squad Ranieri has assembled there now.

Your logic is tragically flawed.
Yes I would have liked a superstar or two who wouldn't but the pure fact is we don't have CL football to offer a superstar and at the moment we don't have the pull of Man Utd and Mourinho

As for the silly silly assertion that we are only spending the stones money ... This is narrow almost naive thinking .

We have overall improved the squad
We have sold stones for a whacking profit and replaced him perfectly well. Just because the money spent so far does not automatically mean we only intend to spend the stones money
It means that is all we have needed to spend so far to improve the squad with the players in the market that we could convince to come
The money is there to be spent , that's why koeman signed up , the fact that is hadn't all been spent us down to
A doing good shrewd business
B our attraction level for superstars is not yet strong enough

Forget net spend its a dumb argument
Concentrate on net improvement in squad
Yep it could be even bigger with a superstar purchase but that won't happen with our current status
But the strength improvement in the overall squad and the management team for that matter is huge
How wonderfully patronising you are.

You have decided that I am naive because so far we have only spent what we have raised by sales and I happen to have pointed that out. As I stated, I hope that we do bring in more players. Furthermore, if we build a squad capable of satisfying our ambitions I couldn't care a jot about net spend.

I agree that recruitment in our current position is challenging but that is what we trust the club to manage and other clubs have managed under similar circumstances to make an impact.

I must have been mistaken about the hopes of others in my earlier post. Maybe you are delighted with players from Crystal Palace, Swansea, Aston Villa and Fulham and believe they will elevate us in to the champions league. I was (am) hoping for better, however forlorn that hope may be. I do not believe our current squad has a hope of top 4 and the 5th and 6th spots will be contested by up to 6 clubs so we need to be as competitive as possible.

I am pleased that you are satisfied with where we are. However, I will not accept your condescension of me or others because we do not share your position.

So u need to put money in the scouting first which is logical...no one will knock at our door yet..
Don't get me wrong I'm pleased we are investing in scouting but that doesn't make up for not signing a striker. Arouna Kone is our striker if Rom gets injured.

I imagine Koeman will resign if the board fail to back him in the next few days. He must be bitterly disappointed at the broken promises. Looks like we're still shopping in Netto after all.

....awww mate.

Turn it in eh kiddo, throw some Neil Diamond on, have a toss, maybe a BOUNTY bar and a tin of TIZER...

BUT FFS....reign the neg in laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Or join RAWK....they LOVE all that.

Think what you will. I am happy with my argument and no doubt you are with yours .., such is the beauty of free speech and debate on this forum .

I apologise if you think my reasoned argument was patronising and I dont withdraw my opinion.

Who says we aren't signing a striker?

IF we haven't brought one in by Thursday then you can moan.

Until then wind it in because all of the evidence points to us very much trying to get a striker in.

And that's not easy to get a decent back-up when you don't offer European football.
