Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Very foolish comment. A lot of people said the same about Gana and he has been our best player last 3 games.
You've flipped my argument to say Gana was overpriced? He's been a great gamble but for only 7m! I'm sure others would be very underwhelmed by Sissoko. We could buy most top midfielders in Europe for the touted price of 30m, even with the market inflation this window.

If that's the case then we wouldn't have sold him until we secured those players. We sold Stones because a) Koeman probably didn't rate him and b) We needed the money to fund the rest of the transfers we have made.

All the other talk of the window was just that. There's no evidence to suggest that any of it was true.
That's absurd mate. In that scenario, any bid we make for a Mata or Witsel does't get past the agent, who sits there telling his player "They can't afford your wages."

You obviously believe that we have not received any Sky money, and that Moshiri is penniless. Both are myopically bonkers, and are indicative of an agenda on your part.

Wouldn't say no to sissoko, he would improve the first 11, strong and direct. Koeman is trying to build a strong quick direct team.

I'd have to agree. We can see with the likes of Barkley and Mirrallas how they have improved under Koeman, so I would expect he would get the best out of Sissoko too, and we at his best he is unplayable. So I'd agree he would be a great addition and some thing we badly need
