Have many Italians from the Italian league done well over here in recent times?
Nah, they don't last long here.

Apart from Di Canio, Zola, Cudidini, Pellè and perhaps Darmian (at a push), I can't think of many others who've survived let alone flourished.Nah, they don't last long here.

That's from a quite a long list if you peruse Wikipedia as well. I've left our Borini as he's been here long enough to become familiarised.
I'd expect that it more down to not being in favour with José. He looked quite a solid full back last season from all accounts.Even talk of Darmian going back too.
Anyone mentioned yet how he looks like Özil on Ket?

Would be very happy with Brahimi and Gabbiadini.
And still expect Kone and a keeper, Hart or otherwise.
Just have to hold tight.
Don't think anything will materialise until Sunday at the earliest, or it might all be down to Tuesday and Wednesday.

If he was so good he would've been given an Italy call-up - he didn't.
Simone Zaza got a call-up over him. Pelle too, Eder (Eder for goodness sake)...some real, real dross got the nod over him which is very concerning indeed.
Brahimi, Gabbiadini, Kone & Hart - not expecting much there mate. I doubt we will get any of those! Hope you're right though
