I can confirm he's indeed on his way via helicopter and that he likes to wear dresses

This deserved more

Thing is, it's not just moaning. People might think knit just negative. But if things are going well I'm happy an I'll say so...in just say what I see, an as it stands we've had an awful summer again!!! And all I hear for people is excuses....get fed up with them. Everything going is sugar coated and when the widow closes and we've done poor business again....it starts again.....oh were waiting for Jan and deals will be better....and it go's in an in an on...
It is just moaning mate. The window is not over and a new stadium by all accounts is not far away. If it was the same as any other summer we would have sold Lukaku and not priced him out of a move.

we're stronger now than we were at the end of last season Dave.

Still additional improvements that need to be made, yes, and we will be looking to do just that (and I'm confident we will do)
Time will tell. We still have the bulk of the bottlers and faint hearts from last season's squad in place.

Ash!

Sorry mate haha!
to reply to your post mate.

I don't mean this summer they have left us behind but generally, 2 years of league form. We had 2 years essentially fighting relegation for the most part of it, they were challenging for europa and even CL last season. That is generally the difference right now, if they have not recruited well this summer then it is only falling in line with everyone else including ourselves.

But players, especially foreign don't look at club history, or how many times they have done this or that, just look at recent history. Would joining us have them challenging up there? Right now no, but west ham and southampton alone came very close to doing it last season so straight away makes them more attractive a club to sign for so to speak.

We are also slowly signing players with mouths on them as well to try and fix that. williams alone will be fantastic for the defence and if the Hart deal does a deadline day U turn for arguments sake then there is another one.

I think we were all promised "game changing takeover". Now call me fussy, but a Championship workhorse, a winger who cant score or assist, and a second string GK from S'ton dont really fit the bill. Williams was a coup, yes. But this is same old same old and you cant dress it up any other way.

Who's that? the guy who's never played in the championship?

This is exactly the dramatic sort of pissy pant posting that makes this forum unbearable at times.

Absolutely pathetic from an alleged grown man lol

Williams is a cracker signing. He'll prove to be one of the best buys of the season.

We need to get weaving elsewhere though. No wonder Koeman is talking through gritted teeth at his press conferences. He must be seething.

Does that mean we haven't signed fifty Carlos Kickaballs for a zillion squids or you've been dumped and that rash has come back?

If you're disappointed it's more down to your own wants and expectations.

I think it's been good. Mainly because our manager takes no crap and wantts the players to be fit, professional and responsible for themselves.

Nice change seeing players run without blowing chunks after the warm up...

Oh you and your non dramatic sensible posts!

SWAP SHOP: Sissoko and McCarthy could change clubs
Sissoko wants out of Newcastle after their relegation to the Championship.

The France midfielder starred for his country at Euro 2016 earlier this summer, leading to the Toon slapping a £35m price tag on his head.

McCarthy was a favourite of former Toffees boss Roberto Martinez - and the Toon chief is a fan too, the Daily Mail report.

I'd much rather have Jimmy Mac in all honesty

Sissoko was no where to be found when Newcastle needed him last season. Yeah, had a good Euro's, but he's still not worth it IMO. He strikes me as a trouble maker. Jimmy Mac will get his head down and work for the team, we'd be better sticking with him and seeing if Koeman can turn his career back around

Just my opinion, and I'm sure I'll be in the minority

Can't see McCarthy wanting to go down a division anyway.

You quoted 'game changing takeover' - who promised that? Genuine question.
