My mate who's supporting Napoli for years told me this things about Gabbiadini:

- The best left foot in Italy and one of the best in Europe
- Very weak when playing back to the goal
- Napoli manager can't find a suitable position for him
- He's the perfect second striker
- He's not playing well when spearheading attack
- He hasn't got a pace nor dribbling
- He said he's staying at Napoli today

Think he could be a good signing if true. Plays number of positions so can fit into the attack well and not just be a target man or one trick pony.

I also read posts on here claiming it was the other way around. Whatever the reason, we won't get Perez. So hopefully Walsh first choice/ back up plan will do the business for us. No point dwelling on about things that for whatever reason didn't happen.

Imo it was the other way around, otherwise why wait until the last week in the window to bid when his release clause is only £17mill?

He was after him while at Leicester, was in negotiations last week according to the Telegraph, now he is off to Arsenal and this other fella gets mentioned.

It reeks of plan B.

From what I can see on the YouTube vids, Perez looks a much more exciting player than Gabbadini.

Whoever is in charge of implementing our transfer strategy this summer needs to be binned asap. We've not been taken seriously by players and agents and it's somewhat embarassing.
