Interesting. No offence meant or implied toward your friends. However, newspapers and agents have been known to tell a tale or two, so I always take them with a very fine grain of salt. Of course, on the same token, managers will also "bend the truth" a bit when it comes to dodging tricky questions. If that is the case here, then I think RK could have made a better job of it, like simply "I do not wish to talk about transfer speculation now." All very odd, considering the amount of rumour smoke - no smoke without fire. Question is, how big was/is the fire?

RK said "no interest" . He never said "We did have interest but we dont now".

We may have interest next week.

Who knows.

Simply put, Hart desperately needs a club. If Man City have an ounce of decency, any sale should be for a low fee, disguised as a good old "undisclosed".

He hasnt acted the goat, or angled for a move. And a few months last season aside, he has been a good keeper. The new manager has effectively made him redundant.

Yeah, he is a rich footballer. Some dont take to him.

But I cant help but feel some sympathy for him.

If buts, coulds and woulds, hes not coming and thats that. I for one am glad.

I happy as well that we haven't signed England's best keeper over the last 5 years. Guess we will have to wait until the transfer window slams shut until we know the level of ambition we actually have. I for one can't wait for it to end!

Problem is that Hart has to end up somewhere, he can't afford to be 3rd choice at City for a season if he has any ambition to play. I'd love him to come to us but not for £135k a week.

I'm getting the vibe from Koeman that he doesn't really care what he says in press conferences regarding transfers.

I don't care much, either. I'd rather he did things than say things.

It came immediately after a pretty grumpy reiteration about not wanting to talk about rumours or specific players. He was then asked twice about joe hart. He seemed annoyed more than anything

Thats the elephant in the room. We might not like it, but currently, we are miles behind City in terms of status and money. If he wants to play, here, he will just have to accept that our wage structure is slightly different from the club that doesnt want him.

Your move chuckles.
