That is what has been so frustrating from Kev - he's always had that ability to hustle as we've seen vs Liverpool, but he's been inconsistent at doing it. Good start to the season, long may it continue.

Looks like Kev is back to being the player most of us know he can be. Love watching him play when he's confident. Looks like he really loves life here without the spanish clown as our manager

Totally agree
I thought last week he was poor, and even today until RL come on he looked a little lost
Full credit to him though, he worked hard and also showed glimpses of what we know he is capable of

Confidence player, when a manager backs him and makes him feel at ease he more often than not goes out and delivers. Last season he was very frustrating but he was still treated terribly by Martinez who otherwise used every excuse in the world to keep playing clowns like Howard and Kone for as long as possible.

As someone who's stuck by him through all the crap times, firmly believing he has both ability and workrate, I'm chuffed to see Koeman clearly see him as part of his plans.

Kevin, like many, clearly loathed Martinez and was treated poorly by him too. Yes he could have handled it better but hey, we like that he has a bit of snide in him, don't we?

He's a goalscoring winger and that's a precious resource. Not to mention he's very popular about the place and buys into Everton and the fanbase. Hopefully this is the start of a good season for him once again.

I think he is one MOTM performance away from a hamstring injury. I hOPE he can stay healthy because he is one of the most exciting players to watch when he is confident. Mirallas needs to have his ego stroked a bit; he is not the player for tough love. Hopefully he can keep this positive mentality.
