As someone who's stuck by him through all the crap times, firmly believing he has both ability and workrate, I'm chuffed to see Koeman clearly see him as part of his plans.
Kevin, like many, clearly loathed Martinez and was treated poorly by him too. Yes he could have handled it better but hey, we like that he has a bit of snide in him, don't we?
He's a goalscoring winger and that's a precious resource. Not to mention he's very popular about the place and buys into Everton and the fanbase. Hopefully this is the start of a good season for him once again.
