I can only assess him by what I've seen myself hence I believe he is nothing like as good as he was and it will be a risk putting him between our sticks. I find it strange that you dismiss his international form, pressure games bring mistakes and he has made plenty so they have to be included in any assessment. Can you imagine if he does another stupid cock up in say the derby game, pressure match, would you still feel the same way, I doubt it. Basically if RK wants him he'll go out of his way to get him unless of course he looks down his nose at us, that appears likely as he claims to want to play abroad which will leave me to have peace of mind.
You got me.. I have no come back.... unless 5 major trophies and 3 runner ups in the last 6 years is perhaps admissible as evidence of being able to handle pressure games at club level?

Look we have not made even an enquiry for him as yet last season I would have loved him this season our keepers are not disastrous as Timmy ok?
How do you know we haven't made an enquiry? because the papers haven't said so yet?

don't be naive, not everything is right in the rags, and not every player you're linked with is who you are after, and just because something isn't in the paper doesn't mean it isn't happening.

in fairness most recent articles, echo, sky, guardian have all said we're interested in him.

I think it would be a mistake to throw money at Hart. He isn't an elite player, and Everton would have to treat him like one to get him here.

He had fantastic potential at one time, but he's regressed in a way that suggests he thinks he's beyond having to work at his game, and I suspect he's one of the reasons why the most expensive team ever assembled has just about scraped two titles in six years.

Obviously he's better than Stekelenberg and Robles, but with his tendency to make extremely rash decisions I don't believe he'd be much better value for money.

Irrespective of whether we get hart or not, it doesn't change my opinion that we need a new no.1 keeper. I don't think stekelenburg was bought by koeman to be our no.1. Although he played well on Saturday, it needs to be remembered that he was southamptons number 2. If he is only no. 2 at the saints, he shouldn't be considered good enough for the no.1 position at Everton. Stand by what I said earlier in the window, would love horn or Leno as our no.1. However judging by his signings so far, koeman seems the type of manager who likes players with premiership experience, as he knows they can be relied upon and have little settling in and adjustment to the pace and physicality of the premiership
