Alisher Usmanov

More shares = more profit

Do you think he might not see acquiring more Arsenal shares as less profitable than some other investment venture? It isn't going to bring him more control so the decision will be a financial one. If he wanted Usmanov 's shares he could have bought them for less any time over the last seven years. He hasn't and I don't think he wants to. Even if it were to happen there is no guarantee they will be as profitable in the future and Kroenke would be facilitating increased competition for that profit by buying those shares.

I thought that only counted for immediate family, otherwise it could cause all sorts of issues. For example, say Usmanov was not married and the step son already owned Watford...would Usmanov or the step son be required to sell up if Usmanov met and subsequently married the mum?
But that analogy isn't the reality here mate.

He owns a 30% slice of Arsenal, and if he's to move on to another club, he'd have to dispose of it i.e. sell it. Merely handing it on to a relative (whether blood or not) wouldn't suffice imo.

The man said he is happy about twenty times.
Are you telling me, based on that interview, he left the impression on you he is looking to get out of Arsenal?
You say you are miserable and want out you don't go into negotiating prices on a strong footing. Still feel it's unlikely though.

Moshiri paid around 75m for his 15% in Arsenal, he sold it a few months ago for 200m.

100% profit is better than 68% profit.

At the time if that interview mate, how was moshiris feelings towards Arsenal? Didn't he co sign a letter around that date stating his vision and commitment to arsenal?

How in a world of Sunday's are we competing financially with city, Chelsea, United, arsenal, or the rs?
We are in the mix for buying players. From that we need a bit of success and stadium to generate more income. Not sure of the rules but think you have to be living within your means in two years so you can't just chuck money at it anymore.

Well anything could happen and they might not be a perennial top four team once Wenger retires. No guarantees in football.

I don't know where all their money goes, I only look at Everton's accounts.
it is just stating the obvious asking where the money goes. And why a majority shareholder at a football club who also has shares in other sports i happy to sit there on a cash cow and just milk it dry.

If arsenal did collapse post Wenger then guarantee he would sell up then.
