Claims he's an evertonian, then again there's a little waste of man juice that sits not far from me, typical short ankle biter type of guy, always screaming whenever the slightest thing goes wrong,
funnily enough i've never heard a postive thing come out of his mouth.....
That's zatara for you.

If, as Koeman has said, we are only 70% ready for this season then we have to be happy with a 1-1 against Spurs. It will be the end of the month before we know we're we stand, few games under the belt and transfer window closed.

We played like Everton under Moyes, Stoke, Leicester, Palace etc

Basically mid-table team but that's how we're going to play now. We knew that would be the case once we hired Koeman. I would accept it otherwise it's just going to piss you off no end.

It will probably suit our players more.

So you're telling me the teams with the best players have the most possession?

Normally yes. They don't always win since it's easier to destroy than create but yea. Do you not think that?

I think it's a good thing we are playing like this. It will be more successful.

...what is missing is the threat. It'll be interesting how we set up away from home, strong at the back but we need to have a threat even against the very best.

Reckon that will be filled next week.

All in all, pretty satisfied. Played great 1st half, tbf, Potch sorted Spurs out, but after we tired, it was luke warm options from the bench, to be kind.

Thought we carried a good threat against one of the league's best defence's. Problem was the front three just weren't consistent. Flashes of brilliance with bad touches, lazy flicks, underhit passes, poor finishing, mixed in.
