I can see both sides of it. Players are doing what's best for themselves and families...and he didn't sign up to play for Moyes. If the club wants to keep him they have every right to not honor his transfer request.

Why.. He was promised a new contract didn't get it and has a chance to move to a bigger club on bigger money. And will lose out on a loyalty bonus by handing in a transfer request. Sounds like an ambitious guy to me
