Transfer Rumour Lamine Kone

This is how I see it too. SAFC were waiting for him to do this.
They've patently told him to hand in a request if he wants to go, despite Moyes obviously wanting the cash to help rebuild.

The request means he gets no loyalty payment, and allows them to say he wanted to go...but

However, he's royally goosed them by submitting it together with that statement which spells out his version of events.

How many games has he played in this league?

How many have you seen him play?

Handing in a transfer request 2 days before the season starts, with a statement released. Coincides with a bid from another club who'd pay him more.

If he was an Everton player...

I saw him play 4 times (full 90 mins) I think, off the top of my head. Looked a bit shaky at first but quickly improved - he was immense against us but then again we were awful.

Football is a business now. He was promised a contract and didn't get it.
If you were working in a business and did well and were promised a bonus which you didn't get and a company down the road offered you a new job on better money you would be gone like a flash too.
And prats play for everton too. I'd say 90 per cent of footballers are to be honest

So he says... ;)

If anything, perhaps a verbal agreement at most with a former manager?

He'll probably sign a new deal tomorrow at Sunderland

... or sign for West Ham.

I hope he signs for us if only to demonstrate that we are now the bullies, no more Mr Nice Guy always finishing last. Surely nothing can go wrong now, can it? Then I remember - this is Everton...
