Benitez Fuelled More Hatred?

Just read this from a Man Utd Fan

Rafael is the reason i hate Liverpool so much. I used to enjoy a friendly rivalry, now I want them to completely fail just to get rid of him. I watch and listen to every liverpool game to enjoy their demise.

He has ruined one of the greatest football clubs of all time. Their backroom staff is 90% spanish. They have 2 english first team players. The way he worked his contract means he has more control than should have ever been given to him. This is not an english club anymore, it's a fake Spanish one.

Rafael is a selfish, idiotic little man. It baffles me that Liverpool fans haven't seen this yet.

and it got me thinking. Has Benitez increased your hatred for that lot?

Yes and no for me, he irritates me like none other but the way he has deluded Liverpool fans as he did with Valencia by playing them off against owners and playing the pauper is quite amusing.

Definitely. I love the " In Rafael we trust" movement amongst all of the LFC fans i have, but i feel sorry for them having a manager that´s trying to be a SAF light. What he says and the way he act irritate me more then ever, i think he is a knobhead. So all in all, i feel more sorry for EFC, but in the same time dislike them more then before as well since they stay with this [Poor language removed] and actually support him.

not very clear written but you get the idea.

What's to hate? He may make a complete arse of himself sometimes WRT comments about Everton but, on the whole, he's doing such a bad job that he's wonderful! (y)

Ditto.

I was just thinking that the derby's a win-win. Win and we possibly push them all over the edge. Lose and he gets the necessary brownie points with them to hang on.

He won them the Champions League (with Houlier's side) and they will never forget that.

So any problems with the club are automatically defelected from him elsewhere.

I know the argument for keeping him at Anfield makes sense, but he's made it a priority to humiliate Everton and I want him sacked and on the floor.

Probably the phoniest, most snide manager ever to be associated with either club. The comical thing is that even now there's a core of their support who see him as 'dignified'. He must be pissing himself laughing at the mugs with their banners and demos in his support. In fact, that's been one silver lining to his tenure: he's split their fan base into opposing camps. They fight a civil war in ale houses and in the media trying to outpoint each other whilst the self-serving smug waiter coins it in at all their expense in return for delivering the biggest load of [Poor language removed] I've ever seen from that club on the pitch.

It takes a genius of sorts to pull that one off, I suppose.

Since he became the manager I have too admit my hatred for everything on the red side of Merseyside has became very strong, before him I never had a problem with any of my red family or red friends. I think it's down to the way they defend and linger on every word he says, now if it was Souness or someone with a history of belonging to the team then you could understand it but the fat **** has no ties with the club before he moved here.

Though I am more than happy to see him stay and fail massively.

Let's face it, they're a match made in heaven, but unhappily ever after. They belong to eachoter like a beach belongs to the ocean. I absolutely despise the FSW. Hate him more than any other redshite (Gerrard included) on the earth, but hope they'll go to hell together.

do you reckon he's trying the divide and conquer approach then dave?

he's certainly divided them
an if they dangled him on a string he'd feel like a conker.

He'd like to dupe them all, but if it helps him hang onto a job he'll accept hoodwinking half of them and the resultant war amongst supporters. He's pure poison. A malevolent force that polarises every situation he's ever gone into in order to turn the chaos in his favour. I didn't think anyone could have me rooting for a couple of plundering North American 'franchise owners', but this nobhead Benitez has me cheering them on.

The thing is Dave, he wont care if hes sacked, he will pocket his money and get a good job is Spain, with some money to spend on players.

I think he wants the sack, anybody that keeps playing Ngog is asking for it really.

Thats why, for the sake of EVERYTHING

He will get a job and big pay off, I agree. I dont know who'd have him Spain, tbh. Besides his tantrums neither Real or Barca would touch him and his brand of anti-football with a shitty stick. And he'd probably see the others as a step down from what he's had. Italy he'd go to, I reckon. Looking at his track record, though, you can tell he loves all this power politics stuff at Anfield...he practically had to be prised away from Valencia to take up his position at Liverpool because he enjoyed sticking it to El Presidente so much. He's ******* warped. Contrary to all reports, he'll be like a pig in [Poor language removed] right now organising his arsewipes in that Spirit of Shankly group to do his bidding with the local hacks and scaring up another 'anti-Yank' demo. A complete ******* lunatic.

I don't hate anybody, even RS, & whilst it's kind of amusing at the moment, I actually feel a bit sorry for those genuine supporters I know (there are some out there!).

Well I think he has been the cause of the heat being turned up between us and Liverpool fans with his snide comments. He has also caused a great deal of emnity with other club managers because of comments.

If the club had had better owners than the 2 yanks I think their fans would have really turned on him by now just like they did with Houllier.

Just remember how much the FSW has spent on transfers and he has still not got a decent team, in fact it is essentially a 2 man team. When they are out the team struggles.
