Everton Transfer Thread 2016

To be fair, I am delighted about Stones.. never took to him and very happy he's gone for 50 million (would have let him go for 40 to Chelsea last year).

Williams looks like a superb addition and so does Gueye. Not really sure yet about Kone. Bolasie seems like a waste of money, could have easily put in a cheeky bid for a better winger at £30M. I also think the wingers are well covered, think we could strengthened other areas of the team first.

I just hope that there are more additions to come other than this. We are seriously lacking in backup striker (Bony?) and goalkeeper (Hart if Pep doesn't rate him?) especially.

Right..... So that 40 million stones money goes to wages and the transfer money is something totally different from a different pot?

Let's say we had 100m to spend from moshiri.... This is not classed as income under the rules. So our income (increased TV money also doesn't count) is the same as last year. ( which is pretty low ) our total wages ( for everyone at the club , including staff etc) cannot be above a certain % of our income. Selling stones does count as income, so now we can spend the 100m on transfers and with the extra 50m from stones being counted as "income" we can now use the fee received ( or at least a certain % of that 50m) to increase our wage bill.

Yet you couldn't get his name remotely correct? Seems fishy.
