Probably because he has only been here a few months and there's obvious improvements to the clubs foundations, including the wiping away of decade old debt and actual movements toward a new stadium.

Stones was always going but it's a shame we haven't signed any proven class players yet, which would've softened the blow for the fans/players.

There's a difference between ambition and reality. We could be aiming to be premier league champions for all you know but that won't bring Messi, Ronaldo or even Witsel here at this moment in time.
