Yeah, it's very embarassing. I can't imagine his presentation and him saying "Everton is a big club, I always wanted to be here" etc after all this.

IMO we should drop interest and let him "die" in this Russia If he doesn't want to come.

He will say how he is very excited to be a part of our big project over the next few years and that we are a big club who needs to get back to the top.

He's waiting out for Juventus which would mean almost guaranteed medals and success instead of coming to us for more money. If anything I respect him more. If Juve don't put in a serious bid for him then he will come to us and be a part of this project where he can hopefully have success.
