Big part of the reason he didn't was the fact that he didn't play at his club.

Hard to pick a player that's been benched for Kone or Snivelly. He's certainly good enough to be a squad player for them.

he talks a good game and has shown to be decent in knockout competitions (FA cup, our EL run, two semi's last year). He was dreadful in the league but seems better suited to tournament football. plus what ruined our FA cup run was him losing the locker room due to our crap league performances.
