That's what my post indicated, 50 million plus for a player that inexperienced - still sad to see him go - I can see City using him as a defensive midfielder, as I think that's his best position!

He's off then by the looks of it and I think the way Pep's teams play he will be perfect for city and become an integral part of thier team for years (Unlike Rodwell and Lescott)....50m is a lot of money but the way the market has inflated we could hold out for more....Rio Ferdinand went to United for 30m way back in 2002 in a summer which seen Anelka join citeh for 13m, Robbie Keane joined spurs for 7m and the reds spunked 10m on El hadji Diouf!! lol...If Pep wants him I say we pump up the price and wouldn't be surprised with a fee in excess of 60m, That said I am more interested (Or worried) about replacements and other incoming transfers as the 'nearly over the line' transfers are not materialising.
