So we go to Germany on Thursday. And aren't back till Monday probably. That means no more than 2 games to get anyone bedded in.

I expected much better to be honest. Could someone please explain why players are all using us as a means to getting better contracts? Are we not being taken seriously?

Because it happens to every club.

This is a rebuilding job, not just a few tweaks here and there. You don't rebuild a side from the ground up in a transfer window - this season will be one of transition. Repairing the utter destruction job that Martinez did on this squad. I'm now of the opinion that we should lower our expectations for this season - players will come and go and they will need time to gel.

Pathetic this transfer window, not arsed what anyone thinks.

It's like telling all your mates you've bought a designer suit for tonight's date with a supermodel only to be seen picking netto's own brand beans off the shelf in your stained Lonsdale joggers later that evening.

So we should go out and spend loads on anyone, just so you can go out and brag to your mates about how much we've spent? Great way to run a club. :coffee:

No I'd just like to sign one decent player to be honest.

Not too much to ask is it, most other Premier League clubs have done it.

Oi, I wont have a bad word said about Lonsdale joggers.

It's not

Its like going into the supermarket with a wallet full of cash and walking out with an empty basket

Judge the signings in context at the end of the window and not on the fee paid / selling club.

If Gueye signs and does well, Koeman and Walsh will be hailed as geniuses. £7.2m is practically free in today's market, very little risk here.

Especially when you compare it to the £25 them across the park paid for the alleged star midfielder from another relegated club and the £35 the Barcodes want for Sissoko.
