Yes we do need a snide not really had one since Cahill but I'm sure we could do better than either of them, they aren't that good don't see either being linked to say City, Chelsea, Juve, Real, Barca or Galatasery at the moment.
Over hyped by the media darlings that are the Red side, best supporters, charismatic manager what an ahole, greatest song blah blah blah don't get sucked in.

How good was time cahill though? Best signing for 10 years at least.

I remember the United game we beat them 3 1 where Rodwell and Billy scored and cahill spent the whole game just getting on vidics tits for the whole 90 minutes. Literally ran into him grabbed him and just annoyed him as much as he could to put him off the game. Think he won the free kick for the third goal off him as well

Sad isn't it, to pass the time of day as we haven't made any signings yet. On a more serious note, I think the issue was raised although they have spent a lot of money, have they spent it wisely and would those players have improved us?
Now that's the last time they're mentioned by me,back to discussing the ongoing saga of mata, witsel and carvalho for the 113th time!!!!;)

Honestly I don't think they have fully. The keeper is meant to be good, defenders no idea. One could be great and the other clearly a cheap brusier to kick strikers and look tough to replace skirtyl. The rest, correct me if I'm wrong but they all play the same position? They have like 6 players to play the same position on the pitch. Very odd if you ask me

In contrast, I think you'll find a clear and focused transfer policy and strategy being developed for the blues, under Walsh and koeman. Exciting times ahead with the finances to make it happen.

I doubt us now having a DOF will affect this transfer window. Medium to long term it will, but he is not going to come in and wave a magic wand and signings will appear. He will start his plans in motion for future transfer windows.
