Haha - was sat here thinking or maybe hoping the same thing - that this great wall of silence and debatable ITK action across the different platforms combined with the complete tripe or nothing coming out of the gutter press and media is simply smashed by a mass unveiling of about 6 top class players stood next to a scale model of the greatest stadium in the country down on the docks in Everton shirts and hard hats as Mosh sticks a shovel in the ground to start the build!!


It could happen like that - right? right lads ?? ....................

Obvs that was tongue in cheek. I'd happily take him for the figures being banded about.

Decent post that mate. He has a good football brain and for my money was the best central midfielder Liverpool have/had. He is almost the opposite of the fraud Henderson in that he is not physically very strong or eye catching but he gets his job done with minimal difficulty and is very efficient. Suffice to say to develop such an understanding of football would fly over 99% of the rats heads who will continue to worship "hendo".

I would have been very happy to get Allen in. Very similar player to Barry Horne but probably a better passer. Seems a down to earth decent lads too.
