lack of champions league is an hurdle i guess. who knows who we will sign. theres even a lack of player speculation now with rumours of a transfer meeting today. taking too long

All the players looked at are probably waiting on the first signing to see if our ambitions are real. They probably aren't but a new theory.

Honestly i don't think we can say it is worrying until our targets (like them or not by this i mean the Mata, Witsel, Haller, Koulibaly, Carvalho, Begovic types) start signing for other clubs.

There is still time. If the season begins and we have signed nobody, Witsel is playing for Napoli, Koulibaly is at Chelsea and Mata and Carvalho have stated in no uncertain terms they will be remaining with their current clubs then things may be worrying - particularly if we are not in hot pursuit of like quality players.

What i find interesting is that we have not been linked with any real left side options....
