Everton Transfer Thread 2016

The Guardian, a credible source, are saying a meeting is being held today to discuss the transfer situation or lack thereof. I wouldn't say panic is setting in at this stage but someone's clearly getting worried.

"Goodison Park officials are meeting on Thursday to discuss significant moves in the transfer market, with the new manager, Ronald Koeman, yet to sign an outfield player for the first team since replacing Roberto Martínez."

Or maybe it's a meeting saying Walsh is here, who do you want now, let's go get them all.

in Comparison Dortmund are signing Gotze for £18.3 Million, Pjanic to Juve £25.4 Million, Gundogan to City £21 Million and even Kante to Chelsea for £30 Million.

Sissoko looks like a steal

...how are you getting 'someone's clearly getting worried' from that mate?

I think it's quite positive TBH. No rushing, appears strategic, sound...it's all groovy. ;)

I would be so surprised if anything were to happen today.

It would've been all over the press since yesterday at the very least.

Today? Of course not. We're not even properly linked with anyone.

I'd say it's extremely unlikely we'll sign anyone even in the whole of next week.

No signings today, despite what well intentioned ITK's are saying, if there was and they are of the magnitude we are all led to believe they would be all over the press, but there is nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing!
Hope I am wrong but I don't think so

....it's not ten-to-twelve yet mate, stop wee-ing yerself. Have a little butty, maybe tin of pop, see what the afternoon brings....

We've been duped.
Mosh has spent his money on the club, and gets it debt free. He's not going to "splash the cash" - it's a cod.
One 20-30 million player will be about it and it will be an underwhelming signing. So basically, it's business as usual except the club is debt free.
