He may not have been the top of Moshiri's list, but surely he's a solid pick. His track record at Leicester has been great. Sure, he's older than we'd like, but we should still get some good years out of him.

Plus, I'm not sure how much of a hand he had in this summer's Ahmed Musa signing, but by all accounts they got another good one.
 

He leaves Leicester because of EFC simple as that. He has seen our clubs Glory days and he knows what we're all about...he also knows that Leicester is just a brilliant shooting star. He just couldnt miss the boat. Sorry foxes.
Hope so. It's gonna take me a while to kick back in to this mode of thinking again as its been so long!

He's 51. Only 3/4 years older than Monchi.

I wouldn't be so sure. The pattern thus far is bringing in people with Premier League experience to define the management - Koeman over Emery, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were Walsh over Monchi for that reason.
