Isnt this the lull in the roller coaster for us. I mean every year. (well every window tbh)

We get some rumors, fans go nuts with hope.
Rumors dont happen, fans go nuts with disappointment.
Everton resigns a few older players and a couple of academy player, fans go cautiously optimistic.
A couple of decent names are signed, fans go nuts with excitement.
Fans feel like we will win the league.
Season starts and then fans hate everything about our football.
Start the coaster again at Christmas.
