Thought we had the best squad in years last season according to many on here? Now we need to make a 'statement' signing, and according to some people, buy 5 players or it's curtains? Absolute melts
Jesus wept. We have the makings of a very good squad that needs some decent coaching and tactical development. West Ham who have European football are struggling to get quality strikers. Stoke haven't signed anyone yet. Southampton are still getting raided. Quality of the level we are looking for is at a premium and money only goes so far. People have to realise that the money doesn't give us an inherent advantage, it just brings us up to the other teams.

best squad in years my ass did you watch the second half of last season.also we have lost the quality of hibbert,Osman,Howard,Pinear. Then you have kone,mcgeady,niasse who aren't worth a carrot
You're know we're absolutely crap when the words "lost the quality of Hibbert and Osman" are included.

It's what people were saying last season when we couldn't win a game. It was 100 per cent martinez fault. But now these players are useless in the eyes of them people cos we have money.

Honestly, feel some would be happier had we got NEIL LENNON in, chased SHANE LONG all Summer and still had BILL to barrack for zero investment/sale...

Agree with most of that. I would quite like Shane long here if thruth be told....but don't tell anyone. Shhhhh. *whispers...i think he's a runner and i like the idea of rom being the lazy one and shane doing the legwork. It makes sense to me.
