To stir the pot a little further, I've been over at FoxesTalk, they hold Walsh in extremely high regard. They believe their ITK to be:

"@@ramadaone who is a proven ITK has said 4-3-3 is on the agenda http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/107558-4-3-3/
Okazaki was arguably our weakest link last season and his No10 position may becoming obsolete.
Plus we have Musa and maybe Luan overtaking him, at 30 years old playing 4-3-3 his chances will be very limited."

In the Steve Walsh thread when asked about it @ramadaone just said "Gone".

So take it what you will....based on this transfer window, that means its...definitely off.

I hear DOF and I think of Dennis Wise and Joe Kinnear !!

I've no idea on the role at all.

Scary pair of names there!

Honestly mate, i think the role depending on the club can vary massively, so much so that it's even guess who'd be good at it - probably a lot easier spotting who will suck balls frankly

on a serious point though, how upset the team your poaching off are over losing someone can when you have little else to go on be a decent barometre of if there decent like

Leicester fans - and seemingly ones who know a bit about the dynamics of the club, seem absolutely devestated at losing him, which is for me a positive like
