Think we're still adjusting. Possibly 3 top signings on the go at once, all for over 20 million/100k a week and that's the 3 we think we know about. Bigger money means longer negotians, more checks, etc.

We're used to one, if we're lucky, mid priced player who we've been tapping up for months before moving fast to try and get it signed before anyone notices.

Only if we make a profit on what their current value on the books is right now mate, so for some yeah a bit for others would make more sense to loan them out etc (Naisse for example), for any significant amount of incoming players on big wages though we almost certainly need a big departure for a lot of profit

Not sure I asked very well earlier in the thread but here goes. Are we allowed to breach the limit whilst the window is open, as long as we confirm to the rules by the time the window closes?

It would still be a risk to go above before sales but it could be a case of signed and waiting for the Stones deal to be finalised, bit like a chain of houses.

Thanks though, completely new situation compared to wondering if they've got a work permit or not. Used to be out before ins to know if we could buy anyone, now it seems out before ins because of wages limitations.

Only time to panic is opening day of season if Stekelenburg is our only signing, until then we can wait and see. We will be signing players before the opening game and probably right up until the window closes. Not sure why so much drama on here.
