40 million Euros is around 25-30 million quid right? Sounds about right to me in this market.
Would be £34m mate, that's what Chelsea reportably bidded however. (€40m).

It's reported we've bidded €45m, which is £38m. That'd make him one of the mist expensive defenders of all time. If we do get the fee we're after for Stones we'd be able to bring in Koulibay and have a £12m profit.

£12m less the Barnsley sell on fee.

Do people think we are waiting to sell Stones first to get the ball rolling on the incoming transfers? Guess it could be a problem if we get players in, then have to sell Stones to balance the books and City decide not to buy him.

I think Stones is more or less sold already and we're waiting to get some players in before making the sale official in order to soften the PR blow.

Im wondering this myself, but Mata and Witsel I expect anyway, just taking time to get it sorted, but once Stones has gone I expect us to go out and get a few more top names in as a result.

Picking up what you are putting down, guess seeing Guardiola's comments in the media about English players being overpriced then seeing them go after Bonucci has me wondering a bit.
