No im actually a big fan of Yakubu, for me hes superb, when hes in the mood. He is lazy, very lazy, but hes been a good player, up untill his injury he was struggling tho and at the moment hes still struggling.

Hes the lone striker, why does he hug that frigging touchline?

Anyway, when does he leave? Do we have him for the FA game?

I thought Yakubu was fine, he was involved in alot of our good moves today. It's not his fault he's got to do Cahill's job aswell.

Goat's opinion was clearly influenced by the idiots in the street end who call him a lazy [Poor language removed] every time the ball goes anywhere near him. So does my mate actually, but he's not too clever either.

Your not wrong there mate.

Half of them don't have a fecking clue about football, and I ain't lying. Embarassing some of the [Poor language removed] I have to endure.

I think he'll be off now, most of the Africans seem to be going in the next few days.

I actually thought Cahill was better today. In the first half particularly he was trying to turn and run with the ball, one of the main things he is good at but seems to have forgotten how to do recently.

Do you think? I thought he was looking for fouls constantly, and moaned more than he usually does.

Would rather he let his feet do the talking and stop moaning like some defender has clocked him.

On Osman: his passing, trickery and movement can be superb at times, techniqually he's a superb player. But several times today I saw him get into the box, then get knocked off the ball, or be unable to retain possession. Which is a pity because otherwise he'd be a very, very good player.

Story of his career. He must lay in bed at night just thinking about what might have been.

I didn't mean that he was particularly good, just that he wasn't as anonymous as he has been the last few games. At least he is trying to get back to what made him a good player is all I'm saying.

hmm, I don't know mate. He needs to cut out the moaning and start playing the whistle more.

I thought the same, he seems to be looking for freekicks a lot this season instead of just getting on with the game, he also looks like he has lost the ability to leap and win every header.

Hope he returns to his former self again soon, I think a spell on the sidelines could be what he needs to give him a wake up call.

Just watched the match (had to work today unlike you lazy slobs) and for the life of me can't understand the Hibbert slanging.

Well let me rephrase that. I understand where it's coming from. I don't agree with it.

He had a solid game like most of his compatriots and yet gets slaughtered on here for it.

Sure some of his crosses didn't make it while others did. Bad news. Some of Maicon's or Dani Alves' crosses don't make it across either. With Hibbert, what you see is what you get. No surprises here. Quality defender and looks to get forward when he can. He had a few good passing plays with Yak and Billy as well. Some of you really need to lighten up on the lad. He could score a hat trick and it wouldn't be good enough. I don't know if he was MoM but he had a solid match in my opinion.

As for the rest of the players. Yak did well as did Fellaini. Pienaar was Pienaar (that's good.) Billy still trying to find his feet (he'll find them, don't worry) but was much more involved this match than last. Cahill needs a rest and may get one now with the knock he took.

Great to see Vaughan score (no, he's not going back out on loan with our current injury situation) and loved seeing the reception Neville got.

Oh, and FINALLY, a clean sheet to go with the goals. Let's keep it rolling.

I thought Hibbert did well coming forward, Eagles gave him a torrid time in defence though.

I don't think he was [Poor language removed], but he wasn't amazing either. Got MOM on the radio, which I don't really understand. But there we go.

Also as a side not I've just emailed the BBC as I am sick of having to wait until the last game to watch Everton. It's pathetic, BBC - [Poor language removed] bags.

Everton 2 Burnley 0 is hardly a major attraction mate.

Eagles showed Hibbert up a bit today I thought.

They missed a lot out, and FFS, I cant believe Stoke 0-1 Birmingham was a more entertaining game though. Looked at the stats and there was definately less shots in that game.
